I have some large (fragmented) files on a FAT32 partition, in a folder – all of which have been deleted – the disk hasn’t been used since. The files have existed in different folders and moved around the disk in the past.
What is the best undelete program to use? Free would be good !
Thanks
The best free software that I use is PC INSPECTOR™ File Recovery. It can be downloaded from http://www.pcinspector.de/Default.htm?language=1 install any data recovery program on a different drive than the one you want to recover your files from. Also save the recovered files to a different drive than the drive you are recovering files from. This is so that you don’t overwrite any data on the drive you are recovering files from. A really good program for data recovery is GetDataBack For FAT. You can buy and downloaded it from here http://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm. if PC INSPECTOR™ File Recovery can’t recover your files then GetDataBack For FAT should be able to recover your files. Both of these program must be used from inside of windows. Please let me know if you need any other help with your data recovery problem.
